OP Contract provides practical commercial support from contract review through to final account — helping you manage costs, document change and address contractual issues throughout delivery.

OP Contract

Commercial support that understands steelwork

Drawing revisions, programme changes, restricted access and additional site requirements can affect the cost of a steelwork package. Managing those changes means understanding both the work involved and the contract behind it.

OP Contract brings together practical experience in fabrication and estimating, specialist steelwork quantity surveying and senior contracts management.

Whether you need ongoing commercial support or help with a specific variation, claim or disputed account, John Paul Oliver works with you to establish the position and identify the next steps.

Services

Steelwork commercial support, end to end

Five areas of support for steelwork packages — from the first contract review through to final account and, where needed, disputed accounts.

  • Maintaining variation registers and supporting records
  • Assessing the cost of additional or changed work
  • Preparing and submitting variation valuations
  • Negotiating outstanding variations
04

Claims management

Prepare, assess and negotiate claims using the contract and supporting evidence.

OP Contract provides claims management support for businesses pursuing additional payment or responding to a claim. The work focuses on understanding contractual entitlement, substantiating the amounts involved and presenting a clear commercial position.

Support includes

  • Reviewing the contractual basis of a claim
  • Gathering and assessing supporting records
  • Preparing and valuing claims
  • Assessing claims received from other parties
  • Supporting negotiation and commercial settlement
05

Dispute management and final accounts

Practical support when valuations, variations or final accounts cannot be agreed.

OP Contract helps you identify the points in dispute, assess the available evidence and prepare for commercial discussions. The focus is on a clear position and a practical route towards resolution.

Support includes

  • Reviewing disputed valuations and deductions
  • Assessing unresolved variations and claims
  • Preparing commercial correspondence and responses
  • Bringing together final account submissions
  • Supporting settlement negotiations
